Client

National Produce Prescription Collective

Project

Website redesign

Project Description

The NPPC is an advocacy group leveraging federal and state governments to utilize produce prescriptions as a form of preventative medicine and to improve quality of life. In coordination with programs like Medicaid, the NPPC helps underprivileged communities have improved access to fruits and vegetables.

The Challenge

The NPPC site had front-end and back-end issues that decreased the website’s functionality. The organization also lacked consistent brand guidelines and a strong digital presence.

Project Specifics

  • Website design
  • Graphic Design & Branding
  • Member Portal

The updated NPPC website is more functional and aesthetic. It features a much more robust wireframe while intuitively presenting the information, thanks to the streamlined information architecture.

Our Solution

Our team built the NPPC a more robust wireframe that would increase traffic with more pages designed and written with SEO in mind. From wireframes and prototypes that were approved by the NPPC board, we moved on to high-fidelity mock-ups, focusing on visual design. We also created a members portal to encourage people to donate and become part of a community passionate about making nourishing food more accessible for all.

The updated NPPC website is more functional and aesthetic. It features a much more robust wireframe while intuitively presenting the information, thanks to the streamlined information architecture. The new site has an intuitive and stunning user interface that makes users want to spend more time interacting with the site.
